Bonnie Was My Beautiful, Beloved Netherland Dwarf Bunny. I Cant Believe Shes Gone, She Wasn’t Very
Old At All, Only About One And A Half. She Lived A Happy Life With Her Sister, Poppy. We Used To
Let Them Play Out When We Were Getting Up For School In The Morning, And Then When We Came Home
Before It Got To Dark. Bonnie Is Burried Underneath Her Favourite Plant She Used To Lye Under In The
Summer. Her And Poppy, Used To Play Games Of Tig, And Burrow Making, They Had A Really Deep One By
The Garage In The Back Yard. I Remember Them Taking Twigs, Grass And Leaves They Collected Around
The Garden. Its Very Strange To Only Let One Rabbit Out In The Mornings, And Catch Only One In At
Night. Ive Never Loved Any Of My Animals As Much As Bonnie, She Meant Everything To Me, She Was More
Like A Best Mate Than A Pet Bunny Rabbit. Christmas Will Never Be The Same Without Her Without Her
This Year, She Did Nothing To Deserve It, She Went Far Too Soon. I Cant Stop Thinking About Her, And
I Cry When I See All The Pictures Of Me And Bonnie Together In The Summer Holidays. Im Sure Poppy
Will Miss Her Aswell, Or Wonder Where She Is, In Her Own Rabbit – Sort Of Way. I Hope She’ll Be
OK Without Bonnie, Mum Says She Might Get Another Rabbit Or Guinea Pig To Keep Bonnie Company, But
She Might Not Apcept It, And Start Fighting It. I Don’t Really Want To Get Any More Animals Any
More, Cause Im Scared They Will Die Too. I Wish I Could Have Bonnie Back, Just For One Day. This
Isnt The First Time This Has Happened To Me, Ive Had Pets Die Before, It Takes A While To Get Over,
In Fact, I Don’t Think You Ever Really ‘Get Over It’ As Such, Because It Still Makes You Feel
Bad, And You Miss Them, But You Just Don’t Think About It As Much. I Never Even Got To Say Goodbye
To My Bunny, I Thought Everything Was Just Going To Be Fine. I Was Outside, One Saturday In
November, Checking On The Rabbits. I Noticed That Bonnie Was Getting Around On 3 Legs, When She Sat
Down, She Kept On Lifting Her Foot Up. I Knew Something Was Not Right, So I Picked Her Up, And Took
Her Inside To Have A Look At Her. It Looked As Though Something Had Gone Right Through Her Little
Foot. I Was Worried About Her, So We Booked An Appointment At The Vets For Monday. Anyway, We Took
Her, The Vet Had A Look At Her. He Told Us That Bonnie Would Need An X-Ray, To Find Out What Had
Happened, He Said We’d Probably Be Able To Pick Her Back Up At Around Six. So We Went Home, And As
I Was Eating My Tea, I Got A Phone Call From The Vets. He Told Us ‘Im Sorry, its Bad News, Your
Rabbits Leg Is Completely Wrecked, Her Bone Has Been Broken In Different Places, It Has All Become
Infected And There Is Lots Of Pus In It. You Have Three Choices, I Can Either Amputate Her Leg, But
She Might Not Survive The Surgery, I Put Her Down With A Needle, Or We Can Leave Her Under
Anaesthetic And She Will Die In Her Sleep’. We Picked The 3rd Option, Because We Didn’t Want
Bonnie To Become Vulnerable To Cats And God Knows What. I Cried For 3 Hours After I Had Brought
Bonnie Home, I Thought She Was Going To Be Fine, And Everything Was Going To Be Alright, But It
Wasn’t. Bonnie Did All To Deserve All This Pain. All She Did Play In the Garden In The Day, And
Sleep At Night. Someone Else Needed To Go Instead Of My Poor Bunny Rabbit. I Do Hope Poppy Will Be
OK On Her Own, Rest In Peace Bonnie, You’ll Be Sadly Missed By All Who Knew You, I’ll Never Ever
Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Forget You! You Meant So Much To Me, I’ll Never Be Able To Kiss You Or
Stroke You Ever Again. Rest In Peace, Much Love, Your Heartbroken Owner Lucie

So sorry
I'm ever so sorry that Bonnie has died now. I'm sure that Poppy will be fine without her. Bonnie was a really cute bunny and didn't deserve to go so soon. From Katie-Jayne. xxxxx
